Ranch Introduction
"Furano Wagyu," raised in the Furano Basin at the base of Daisetsuzan National Park in Hokkaido, is a premium brand of Wagyu produced exclusively by the Taniguchi Farm Group. Though a large-scale farm, the philosophy centers on warm, attentive management. Each cow receives meticulous care to minimize stress, and the farm creates a supportive environment for all workers, including young staff, to stay motivated. To provide safe, reliable beef, the farm prioritizes preventive management practices over treatment and maintains strict sanitation by frequently replacing bedding and performing thorough disinfection. In support of sustainable, local farming, the farm collaborates with nearby crop farmers to exchange compost for roughage feed.
Apealing point
Our top focus is the quality of the beef fat. A major factor in determining fat quality is the "feed." Our uniquely blended feed maximizes both the meat’s rich flavor and the beef fat’s natural sweetness, using ingredients like "raw rice bran," "okara," and "hominy feed." This blend creates a low-melting-point fat that melts instantly in your mouth, paired with lean meat packed with refined, concentrated flavor.

Ranch Introduction
Over 70 years of raising cattle as a livelihood. Located in Miyazaki Prefecture in southern Kyushu, this farm sits in a nature-rich valley at the base of the Kirishima Mountain Range. It’s one of the few in Japan to follow a fully integrated approach, handling everything from breeding to fattening. The cattle are raised without any antibiotics or additives, focusing on domestic feed and natural groundwater. This ensures not only delicious meat quality but also safe, trustworthy Wagyu. Kurazono Wagyu, a rare breed with only about 60 heads reaching the market each year, holds a unique place in Miyazaki Prefecture, a region famous in Japan for its Wagyu production.
Apealing point
Kurazono Farm's Wagyu, certified as a domestic Miyazaki beef brand, offers fine marbling, a unique texture for each cut, and the pure, rich flavor of authentic Wagyu. Raised with minimal stress, fed domestic feed and natural water, and raised without additives through a unique method, this Wagyu provides an unparalleled taste and quality. The farm’s own restaurant has received high recognition, including Tabelog’s Top 100 and Bronze Awards. Additionally, their Wagyu prosciutto, made from their own cattle, is featured in ANA’s international first class, earning wide acclaim.
